Retreats!!

Becky and I are getting ready to go away for a few days. We have our annual ministerial retreat in Salina(3 hours away) in a couple of days. This is where we get to hang out with other Pastors and Youth Pastors and wives for a little while and hear what is happening all across the State of Kansas within the Wesleyan Churches!!
This is only the beginning of what truly leads into a long Spring and Summer of camps, retreats, conferences and missions trips. In a few weeks, weather permitting, we will be taking about 12 teens up into the mountains for a "Spring Spiritual Retreat." We are going to go ice skating one day and go to the mall another, that will be a real treat since the closet we come to a mall is spelled Wal-Mart.
Anyways, if anybody has ideas of fun group activites, crowd breakers or lessons to do, please let me know because I am still planning everything out.
Thats it for now...
Stay Warm!

The human knot is allways great. Or you could play the sign game. What do you think about that? I have a book on ice breakers but it is in a box somewhere. I could look for it but that would take to much time.

how about a scavenger hunt? break into teams and look for crazy things that people probably didn't bring with them on the trip, but cost minimal amounts of money... like a hanger, a straw from a fast food restaraunt, candy necklace, etc.

What about Crazy 8's? It's a great card game...and those 8's are sooooo crazy. Just an idea...still have heard anything about the makeout session.

Disappointed in Dallas,
